Towards the end of 2019, when we decided to rebrand our business to RedHawk Consulting Group, no one could have imagined what 2020 would have in store for us all. The pandemic forced changes in how we lived, worked, and functioned as a society. For many, businesses struggled, families had to make difficult decisions, and loved ones were lost. On many levels, it marked a time of unprecedented divisiveness and polarization within our country.
But something else also happened in 2020- Our ability as a society to adapt and find solutions was regularly on display and vital to survival. We learned about ourselves and each other. We became acutely aware of our capacity to be resilient. Through all of the ominous skies and dark clouds, there were many silver linings.
One of those silver linings for RedHawk was our ability to continue to find answers, solve problems, and mitigate the risks that our clients were facing. Though the landscape changed, our objective to find solutions for our clients did not. Throughout the pandemic, RedHawk remained open and fully operational as an essential business. Though many adjustments had to be made, RedHawk continued to conduct complex investigations, mitigate unique risks created by COVID-19, and provide various direct services to ensure business continuity. We helped our clients determine their risk tolerance and have contingencies in place should a situation change- and many a time, change it did. We provided security teams in “COVID Bubbles” to ensure adherences to various policies and guidelines. We continued to gather pertinent information that our clients needed in order to make informed decisions.
There were many interesting obstacles but we rose to the challenges.
Another silver lining that 2020 provided was time for us to continue our rebranding efforts and to truly evaluate our brand. We took a deep dive into who we want to be for our clients as we move forward into 2021. Part of that process was to take an honest look at where improvements can be made and determine the best ways to implement those improvements. The other part was looking at the things we do well and continuing to pinpoint why we do it well.
· Being not only a provider, but a strategic partner to our clients
· Stronger ongoing consistent client communications
· Improved internal processes
· Client access to our case management programs
· Ongoing training and education for our personnel
· Comprehensive suite of training programs offered to our clients
· Ensuring that we are a “value added” provider at all times
For us, the first step in meeting our goals for 2021 is in building the right team to support our clients needs. We are proud to say that 2020 allowed us to find several key people now on the RedHawk team. From operational staff and a client management team, to a recruiting coordinator, investigators, and mitigation specialists, we have made great strides in 2020 that we anticipate will be greatly felt by our clients in 2021.
As we move into 2021, we do so with our eyes wide open!
For many, there was a hope that as we said goodbye to 2020, we would also say goodbye to the obstacles and challenges the year presented. The reality is that our normal has permanently changed on many levels and the obstacles that we face will be with us for the foreseeable future. But at RedHawk, we are committed to helping our clients navigate these obstacles indefinitely and to ensure their businesses operate as smoothly as possible.
RedHawk stands ready to proactively find the answers and solutions you need.
From all of us at RedHawk, we wish you a Happy New Year and we look forward to having the opportunity to serve you through 2021.
